71 days till Thanksgiving in Canada

Thanks AhourseSoul, but here, in Quebec, Thanksgiving is not as big a thing... quite the opposite but we do LOVE having a day off work!! For us = 3 day weekend.
Just looked it up and it seems it's october 11th. We usually have a fall festival here in town & I have family for a few days over, but no big preparation like in the US, which is good because I don't know how I'd do it with Halloween coming up and all 
That isn't too far off. I have been wanting to try some new recipes for dinner. I guess I better get moving on that.
I can almost smell turkey and pumpkin pie. Think I'll make crock pot pumpkin pudding tomorrow.

Thanksgiving is a BIG deal for my family My most favorite meal to cook, and my husbands favorite holiday!!
I think it is becoming a bigger celebration here with the increase in available holiday decor!
I always thought we had THE best date for Thanksgiving, as it was the best time of year for fall leaves, blends well into Halloween a few weeks later... and gives us plenty of time before Advent
