I was in Barnes and Noble for the first time, well, forever!

They had a whole table of games 50% off as well as 2 tables of books. I got 3 card games by Gamewright for stockings stuffers, a travel Connect 4 game and a child's jump rope for under $20.

Yeah!

One of the games they had was some super deluxe version of Risk. It was a huge box that weighed a ton. It was regularly $59.95 on sale 50% off. If you have any Risk players/fans on your list it might be worth checking out.

Thanks so much! I'll have to go see if ours has a clearance table!

Their clearance tables are great. I pick up books in that section year round for gifts.

Our Barnes & Noble sells toys now, too...Just a heads up, I saw these great Lego Brickmaster book/playsets (Castle, Pirate, Atlantis) $30 and I was tempted to buy one at B&N, but thankfully I waited. TJ Maxx had the same sets for $20. Amazon has them even cheaper $16.49...the Star Wars set is $19.79 -available Nov. 1st.

Thanks for this info. There is an organization that I donate toys to every Christmas. Hopefully, they will still have some nice things when I visit them today.
