Children's activities

Who else has an afternoon for doing something with either grand children, friends children or neighborhood children?
The last few years, the second Sunday in December I have my DF's grandchildren over to the house.
We have lunch make cookies and decorate, and watch a video.
sometimes we make a craft.
Any other suggesstions or things you have done? :sleigh:

I have my grandchildren several times during Thanksgiving and Christmas break. They love to bake cookies and do crafts and watch movies. I'm also trying to come up with other things.
They love to go to the theatre but that can get too expensive. I thought about letting them go with me to deliver some cookies. :sleigh:

I'd love to do this with my nieces and nephews this year! We'll have to see what the season brings! :bigsnow:
I thought it might be cute to teach them a christmas song to perform for their parents!

We have a cookie day. The kids get to pick out a cookie recipe and make it. It usually turns into a team effort, but that's part of the idea. Last year we did a gingerbread house kit.
