Wrapping paper or gift bags? both...depends on the size of the gift

Real tree or artificial? I grew up with artificial, and swore I would always have real trees when I was on my own (especially since Christmas trees are the major industry where my family lives). But last year, after we spent all day on the tree farm finding the perfect tree, we discovered a week later it was full of bugs. It was so disgusting. I fought them for a week before I gave up and took the tree down and tossed it. It was awful. So we're an artificial tree family now :-(

When do you put up the tree? usually the weekend after Thanksgiving, but I'll probably do it earlier now, with a fake tree

When do you take the tree down? anytime after New Years

Do you like eggnog? no way! Especially not after the season I worked at Starbucks. Steamed eggnog smells nasty!

Do you have a nativity scene? I have a ceramic one my mom made me when I was little...and a Cherished Teddies one. My mom got my son the Fisher Price one this year, so we'll have three for next year!

Hardest person to buy for? my father-in-law

Easiest person to buy for? my mom or Grama

Favorite Christmas movie? Charlie Brown or Polar Express

Real tree or artificial? Artificial I live in an upstairs apartment; too much trouble to have a real tree

When do you put up the tree? I haven't for the last two years, but usually Thanksgiving weekend-the first week of December

Do you have a nativity set? yes, my dad bought it for me Christmas, 1976 (my youngest DS's first one)

Favorite Christmas movie? Polar Express and Bells of St. Mary's (ok, not a typical Christmas movie, but I love it at Christmas, especially)

Real tree or artificial? Artificial...I like real trees, but this is more economical for us right now.

When do you put up the tree? November 12 (No decorations before Remembrance Day)

When do you take down the tree? The day after New Years.

Do you have a nativity set? No But I just got the pattern for the one we had as kids and hope to make it.

When do you take the tree down? 6th January (Irish tradition)

Do you like eggnog? Never even tasted it

Do you have a nativity scene? only counting the stand alone ones (not tree decorations), I have a large one, a tree ring cutout and a teeny tiny one glued into a ring box

Hardest person to buy for? DH or my parents usually

Easiest person to buy for? The toddler
