I'm heading in the kitchen for mine:

I was thinking about this yesterday on the drive home from work:

I want to make:
* Homemade fudge sauce
* Homemade Caramel sauce
* Homemade cinnamon apples
* Maybe- strawberry sauce and/or pineapple sauce
* Pecan Pralines

And set up ice-cream sundae baskets to give out to family and friends. Maybe include an icecream scoop with a cute ribbon tied around it. Also can inclue parfait dishes and long handled spoons.

Do you have a pattern for this? I've wanted to try this as well.

I am not much of a craft person.. I love to cook and bake but I have never made homemade fudge so I think I might give that a try.

A little over a year ago I taught myself to crochet. I've been thinking that maybe this year I'd like to crochet all of my nieces and nehpews hats and scarves for Christmas.

I would like to try some homemade soaps for gifts. I had some books about it, but think I must have given them away or sold them. Funny how we keep things for years never using them, and then wishing we had them after we get rid of them.

I made the coasters for DD19 last year for Christmas except I used scrapbook paper and velum. She loved them as did everyone who came to her apartment.

You can make your own Modge-Podge. Equal parts white glue and water...worked fine on DD's coasters....saves a lot of money. I used 1 ounce water and 1 ounce glue because a little goes a long way.
