Didn't get a chance to stop by yesterday or do anything Christmas-related. With a little over two weeks until Sophia leaves for Oregon, we still have a lot to do and that's taking priority over everything else.

Today we are planning to watch Four Christmases but that's about it.

I did post on my blog yesterday and I keep forgetting to list the day's carol so I think I'm just going to put the whole list up on my blog as well later today.

Hi PamelaG

Don't think I'll have time for anything Christmassy either but I did put up a post on my blog. I think I'll have to go over my crafts and take out a new one as I have finished the last one.

Not sure what I'll be able to fit in today, but I did want to report the very successful test of a new holiday recipe. :)

Italian Beef is a crockpot roast that turned out AWESOME! And it was really almost stupid easy.

Here is the link:

I also made this Smoked Cheddar Sauce to go on the sandwiches made from the shredded roast meat:

This does take a while to cook (12-14 hours) but once it is done it can be put in the fridge and reheated as necessary.

Would make a great main type item for a buffet event. It is a little different than standard holiday fare but still something special!
