Half thru our 3rd month!

Seems we all kind of relax for a spell here. With the weather still yucky I should be doing stuff before it is time to be outside all evening!

I wanted to make clothes for my nieces doll. (18") but Jaymee found a horse at Wal-Mart that it can ride. Will still do a purse and maybe a couple of things.

What are your plans for this week?

My cinnamon trees are sewn! Now I'll have to fill them up, put the stick in, glue them and put a small bell on them, but for me the sewing was the worst part.

Lucie, if we were giving prizes you are there!

Britt, how many quilts do you average a month? More burp rags and such do you sell?

Jampss, I am with you.

I did get the material out and washed for Teigans dress (skirt part) and then also for a purse for an 18" doll.

I got all my pinwheels sewn and am sewing them together in a 3*4 panel. I will sash in white and then pick up batting, backing and binding.

I definitely don't have a monthly number anymore! I believe when I started I did 15 in the first year but that was BC... BEFORE CARSON. lol! Now I mostly do custom orders on occasion, gift items or small quilts just to use up stored fabrics and hopefully sell. My energy is pulled so many sorextions now I don't spend nearly as much time sewing as I used to AND after all these years I am a bit burnt out.

MissBrittany would love to see pics of what you do.

As I'm having guests this weekend (part of the weekend) I don't plan much house-cleaning so I might have time to work on my crafts :)

Do not forget to save baby clothes to make a quilt.

Crafters challenge for this week is to get any thing at a all done. I have not picked up a single craft project all week. Maybe next week, I will be back on the horse, so to speak.

Since I was sent home yesterday, last night I did work on the purse for my nieces 18" doll. It was another fun item. I would like to rip out a small small curve and make it more rounded.

Hoping to do Teigans dress skirt today.

Katrinia, I am like that several weeks during the challenge. Then I feel SO guilty because I start the challenge and I FAIL!

It's a challenge not a life dictate. If you didn't have room for improvement you'd have nothing to look forward to doing.

I put a picture of the purse I finished on my blog.

Have a start on the onesie skirt. Have the first hem in it. Need another hem, side sewn, then gathered and sewn onto the onesie. It is suppose to be a 10 minute dress but haven't stayed with it.

I have the buttons to sew onto the headband warmer also.
