Please remember that we are wrapping up our CIJ Celebrations with..... A Wrapping Party! Tomorrow!

Of course.... you don't have to actually wrap. You can address cards; organize Christmas supplies; work on your Christmas Notebook....... anything you choose! Or.... juust read along and chat when you feel like it!!!!

I don't remember what time it is....

Anyway.... today..... I am "flirting" with the idea of doing a TINY bit of Christmas shopping.....

What about you?

Good morning everyone.

I am so thrilled. When we rebuilt my home in 2005-06 I had all new cabinets and hardware installed in my kitchen. I ended up firing the contractors before the job was finished (long story of alcohol, pornography, & sex). I've always said that I found every horrible crooked contractor from here to Canada after Rita.

Anyway, I could not find the remaining 16 cabinet handles that I'd bought to be installed. DH found them this morning and is going to install the rest of them today. Woo hoo, I will finally have handles on all of my cabinets.

I'm going to wait until he's finished with the installation (sawdust ya know) and give all of my cabinets a really good cleaning. I'm so inspired now.

I hope all of you find wonderful suprises that inspire you today! This is truly a "Merry Christmas Miracle in July", 6 years later.

I have been a busy little Christmas elf the last few days. Today, I watched Miracle of 34th Street...the one I recorded on TCM a week or so ago. We had ham and cheesy potatoes for dinner. (My favorite Christmas Eve meal.) I went to Hobby Lobby and bought some clearance holiday scrapbooking stufff and then to our brand new JoAnn's which just opened this weekend. It used to be a teeny old store until they moved it across the street into a bigger, remodeled and did I say BIGGER store with so much more crafting stuff!! They are giving away gift cards to the first 100 customers next week, too. :D So, far for Christmas in July I have made 8 different kinds of ornaments, most of them made from scrapbooking cardstock or paper. I also am working on a Christmas Tree made out of a wrapping paper tube and scrapbook papers. It is about 2/3 done! Feliz Navidad en Julio, Amigas!

sounds some like great plans ladies. this morning I listened to some Christmas piano music while I made a new version of Monkey bread to try for Christmas this year. I don't have items to wrap and have a feeling real life will take presidence. Hopefully I can squeeze something in.
