Thanks for starting the Hanukkah thread!

DH and I lit the first candle last night - he got some comfy sweat pants and I got a nail art kit

DS is on business in Detroit but we called him and wished him a happy Hanukkah. He'll be home tonight and will have 2 gifts to open!

Saturday is our Hanukkah party - very small - we used to have about 20 people but as the kids grew up it diminished. Lucky if we can host 8 or 10. But the latkes will be good as will the lox and bagels and salads that is our traditional Hanukkah party lunch.

I had latkes the other day, just couldn't wait. But Lox and Bagels I haven't had yet. I have gluten free bagels in the freezer. Will check out the store tomorrow for the lox.tfs
