ChristmasRose around here it's more about having an extra day to the weekend than having a Thanksgiving supper. We don't do anything special with the day - except enjoy it.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving is BIG for us here :) My DH favorite Holiday!
Probably very similiar to the states, our celebration is all about the harvest.
This Thanksgiving we had just my sister and her family.
Started our new puzzle (a Thomas Kinkade art) for the season as we chatted between dinner and dessert.

Happy Thanksgiving. I'm glad you enjoyed your day!

I think I read somewhere that in the U.S., it is the most "traveled" holiday, even more than Christmas because people who choose to celebrate Christmas at home travel to see famiy at Thanksgiving instead. It's interesting to find out how others celebrate holidays.

I am not far from the border, so we get a lot of Canadian visitors during the Canadian holidays.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
