This month we have been working on the theme of: Money.
So far we have worked on: Buying Happiness, Beware of the Expensive Gym Membership and exploring If we are an Overbuyer or an Underbuyer.
This week we are to: Spend Out. Corresponding reading pages: 183-186.

Gretchen describes Spending Out as the need to use things that you have. For example: Her sister bought her a beautiful set of stationary and she would not use it. Or, when we have a beautiful set of china but we are waiting for that "special occasion" to use it.
Gretchen also says this applies to creativity- often she'll have an idea of something but will want to hold onto it. But, pouring out creativity creates more creativity.
Spending out also reminds Gretchen to not keep score with her husband. Saying things like, "I gave the kids a bath, so you need to put them to bed." The atmosphere is better if everyone gives as much as they can.
Resolution for the week: Spend Out.
Thought for the week: "When one Loves, one does not calculate."
