Katrina, you just reminded me that I need to work on the Grandma book. Best pull it out and put it in front of me so that I remember to do a page a day.

I had forgotten about it until I cleaned my craftroom and there it was. I am doing one for DS and one for DD. My Mum is also doing one. I don't want to rush it so it may not be for Christmas this year they may be put aside for birthdays in January and July. I will see. Either way I do need to make progress with them.

Yesterday marked the first day of autumn. We are dealing with the remnants of a tropical storm this weekend. The temperatures have been in the low 60's (16 C) and windy. We will have a lot of small branches to clean up when this storm finishes. This week marks 6 weeks since I started my new job and the new routines are in place.

Daily:

  • Exercise
  • Prayer
  • Calendar Review of Appointments/Meetings
  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Coffee Prep for the next day
  • Lunch Prep for the next day
  • Breakfast Prep for the next day
Weekly:
  • Outfit Planning for this week
  • Menu Planning for this week
  • Meal Prep for this week
  • Dust/Vacuum/Mop
  • Bills
  • Laundry
  • Groceries
  • End of Last Week Reflection
  • Set Research/Writing Goals
  • Weed Garden
Monthly:
  • Living Room, Entrance, Dining Room and Front Porch:
    • Dust Blinds.
    • Sweep the front porch.
    • Clean the front door.
    • Wipe down the wall and door jambs.
    • Dust the chandelier.
    • Wipe down dining room chairs.
    • Declutter
Quarterly: Write reflection on the last three months

Mary, a very organised and comprehensive list for this week. It seems to me that you have hit your stride with your routine and work. We really are quite adaptable aren't we?
