What's on the menu at your house tonight?

We're having:

Mmmmmm....Apple Dumplings!!! Can I come over???

Tonight DH works late so I am eating leftovers plus whatever I can scrounge. But I am doing some "feeding" of the freezer, browning meats, etc.

I'm also going to throw some chicken in the crockpot to cook up and then later tonight I'll chunk it up and make chicken salads for lunches over the next couple days.

Can I just say I love food???

Hubby is grilling steak out. I made coleslaw!

I'm making chicken and rice.

We were going to have chicken and rice and yet again I didn't have an ingredient I needed. So, we had the chicken bake on the back of the stuffing box.

Leftover eggplant parmesan and cheese ravioli, with peas. For dessert (no children here) - decaf coffee with the flavored coffee creamer "Italian Sweet Cream". I KNOW it isn't good for you -- but it is SO DELICIOUS! just think how delicious it would be with some of those Apple Dumplings!

BFD-breakfast for dinner-bacon, eggs, biscuits, pancakes and sausage, with coffee and hot chocolate to drink. It's cold and rainy, we have a fire in the fireplace and Dancing with the Stars is on tv tonight-ahhh, bliss!!

Cathymac ... at first I read it that the stars were dancing! Like you were star-gazing and I'm thinking, "but it's raining!" LOL

Ok, the show on TV. I get it now!
