That book always makes me cry, but I have never heard of the movie. I will have to go and check it out!

It's a Frank Capra movie starring Gary Cooper and Barbara Stanwyck. Kind of has that "It's a Wonderful Life" sort of feeling to it. :grin:

Finally, I'm ahead on something. We watched the movie last night. DH wanted to see an old classic and chose it. He was surprised at how excited I was to watch it. Haven't seen the movie for years and forgotten how much I liked it.

Now to read the book.
