at Christmas. What grace does your family say before the meal at Christmas dinner? I am looking for a table grace that is specific to Christmas dinner, something not too formal or overly longish.

I plan to print it off and put a copy at each persons place setting this year so that we can say it together in unison.

I wasn't sure which forum to put this in.

Thank you! I was on that site, just a few minutes ago! Yes, there were a couple of table graces that I liked on that site. I asked for suggestions so that I had more to choose from before I decide on one for Christmas. So, if anyone has a personal favourite, I'd love to see it! Thanks!

That is a great site.

Our usual grace for everyday is:

Heavenly Father, we thank you for this food we are about to eat, please bless the hands that prepared it and the mouths it will feed. Amen

At Christmas:
Heavenly Father,
We give You thanks
for Your abundance,
and for all the blessings
you have given us,
especially the birth of Your Son on this day.
We ask Your blessing upon this food,
and upon our friends and family.
We also pray that in Your great mercy,
You will shelter all those in need this day.
We pray for Peace, Amen.

Okay! I'm looking for a new Christmas grace for the same purpose as last years!

Any new ideas will be very appreciated.
