Last week week was the first official regular week of work and school. Doing the meal planning, meal prep and outfit planning on the weekend, really helped with making it a relatively smooth week for me. I'll be doing that for the rest of the year. I also tried something that I haven't done in ages: assign tasks from this week's list to a day of the week. I usually did what I felt like doing but now that I feel like crashing when I get home, that doesn't work too well. This new way was great. Doing all the planning on the weekend, frees up my mind during the week. I look at my list for [insert day of week] and do it. I also gave myself a 30 minute time limit to work off that list and it seems to make me more motivated to start and complete the task. It's not dragging on.

Daily:
  • Exercise
  • Prayer
  • Calendar Review of Appointments/Meetings
  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Coffee Prep for the next day
  • Lunch Prep for the next day
  • Breakfast Prep for the next day

Weekly:
  • Outfit Planning for this week
  • Menu Planning for this week
  • Meal Prep for this week
  • Dust/Vacuum/Mop
  • Bills
  • Laundry
  • Groceries
  • End of Last Week Reflection
  • Set Research/Writing Goals
  • Weed Garden

Monthly: Bedroom
  • Dust.
  • Vacuum.
  • Clean Windows.
  • Declutter room.
  • Shred papers.
HHP: Week 3 list

Well, it's a work in progress. Disorganization does not help me be my best. It's like the recurring nightmare of struggling to walk in water.

This job has forced me to take better care of myself. I'm in bed between 9 and 9:30 pm, up between 5:15 and 5:30 am. I get exercise in, get ready for the day and then have coffee, vitamins and breakfast before leaving the house. It's not stressful because the clothes have been picked out on Sunday, a vegetable and fruit smoothie lunch has been prepared on Sunday (it's the same thing for the week), and dinner has been planned for the week. I'm on my feet most of the day so I wear compression socks. Just walking at school, I get two miles in a day. I need all the energy and help I can get to keep up with four year olds. :)
