Thanksgiving- drinks

I am already looking forward to Thanksgiving! I know of eleven coming to my house thus far. I am also having a birthday party the day before for dd. We (my whole family) are also in the community players performance of It's a Wonderful Life which ends the sunday before so I am on the search to get things around to have as much done for Thanksgiving as possible.

I am wondering how many of you make punch up for this wonderful day. I am thinking of making some up now and freezing it so that I have it on hand already. I think I will make it to the point where you put in gingerale and do that part the day of.

What kind of drinks do you serve at Thanksgiving? Thanks for sharing

We do about half and half cranberry juice to ginger ale - with frozen berries as decorative It is a tradition in my husbands family - I add the berries for visual appeal. A twirl of orange rind also looks really nice!

Yes, a few have very strange names and would have to be renamed if I were to use them.

This sounds like it would be good at Thanksgiving if renamed to Thanksgiving Wassail.
