Lucie, I'm curious. When you have these parties each year and make all these fabulous props, what do you do with them afterwards? Seriously, it's got to be alot to make and I'd have such a problem tossing things.

MinnieCo I store them away in the attic. I do not toss. I keep and reuse (sometime I alter a little from 1 year to the next).

Even though I love reading about all of the Halloween prep I am often glad that we folk in Australia have no big celebrations between now and Christmas. No Halloween, and no Thanksgiving means that we are on the home straight to Christmas now.
I do not know how I would fit it all in!!!

Fluttering happily in the clouds!!
Before Christmas this year, DH plans to have most of the house sorted. So that means we still have to:
Paint our bedroom (I clear and prep, he paints) - walls, ceiling
Make new curtains (me - I still have to find material)
Make new headboard (ditto)
Re-arrange furniture and buy new storage units (joint task)
Make new blind for bathroom (again - me)

PLans for guest bedroom - although that may wait until after Christmas
Paint walls and ceiling
perhaps make new curtains - depending on colours

Plans for attic
Design conversion to living space
Apply for planning permission (for velux windows to front and solar panel (for hot water) to rear)

The attic will then be done next summer, and we'll change carpets upstairs and sort wardrobes in our and guest bedrooms then.

And that list is quite without thinking about the decluttering that I'm working on, or holiday prep, or other sewing and knitting jobs that I have on hand. (Or the fact that we both work 50-60 hour weeks!).

Thanks for starting the thread. I haven't looked at my notebook in a while, you inspired me to sit down and do so, and it helped me remember a few good ideas I had at the end of last year that I have made no forward progress on. Guess there is no time like the present
