To-Do's for the Week of May 26th-June 1st

It's another Monday, which means time to post those weekly To-Do lists! Don't be afraid to make them large or keep them small. If you get to everything, great, but if not, don't sweat it, there's always next week.

Here's my weekly list:

Outside (depending on the rain)

[ ] Plant caladiums
[X] Refill hummingbird feeder
[X] Rake leaves from back porch area and bag up or move to ditch to burn later
[X] Decide on paint color for table and chair on back porch (might be buying a new patio set since the table and chair aren't ours)
[X] Find little pool and get it set up (bought pool but can't set it up until weather cooperates)

Leisure Activities

[/] Continue reading Eat, Pray, Love (still working on) and Halfway House (finished)
[X] Do at least one page in my Garden Art Journal (did two pages)
[X] Do several tarot readings for practice
[X] Put new songs on my IPod
[X] Do at least one page in my Book of Shadows (finished one page and did a new one)

Need to do

[X] Find rails for toddler bed (will require a trip to Columbia)
[X] Get Father's Day present for DH
[X] Buy Samuel sandals

This is all I can think of for now. If I think of any more i'll update later. This is my last week before my classes start again so i'm taking full advantage of it. :flower:

Well, rain started yesterday afternoon here and hasn't stopped yet but......

Outside

plant flowers ----purchased yesterday
put yard decorations out
clean the fish pond (been seeing a coon by it, in early a.m.)
organize buildings



Inside

several pairs of jeans to patch that I have been putting off for DS & DH
work on gifts for a baby shower that is the 1st

my DD got the Wii Fitness should really try to do it daily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not getting anything done on my own, so I'm jumping in this week. DS15 is out of school, but the little boys have another 4 days...although they will probably only go Tuesday and Wednesday. So, I need to get organized and get some things done, working around other obligations and with an eye towards completing what needs to be done before school is out. Next week I'll focus on organizing projects I want competed before school starts again in August, and try to figure out a weekly plan for getting it done. Wish me luck..

This week:
Monday-Memorial Day, but DH is working so I guess I will, too.
*Master Suite day
1. Declutter and hang up clothes
2. Clear off dresser, chair and floor by dresser
3. Clean bathroom
4. Make altered clipboards for teachers' gifts

After DH gets home:
1. Work on back porch
2. Start getting pool ready

Tuesday-
1. Finish whatever doesn't get done Monday, especially pool stuff
2. Business lunch
3. Baby sit my nephew

Wednesday-start on laundry room project
1. Move boxes of-ahem-junk from laundry room to shed
2. Clean floor
3. Clear out cabinets and shelves; prep for painting

Thursday-
1. Pack for lake
2. Final baseball game and cookout at 6 pm

Friday-
1. Finish packing for lake
2. Buy groceries for lake
3. Go to lake!! Whoo hoo!!

That shouldn't be too bad.....right??

Oh, man where do I start... just got back from a trip and my house is a disaster

--Attack the mountain of dirty laundry (M)
--Put away suitcases (M)
--Put away stuff from suitcases and bags (M)
--Straighten office (T)
--Scrub kitchen floor (W)
--Wipe off hardwood floor (W)
--Paint trim in dining room and sort paint supplies so I can move to a new room next week (??)

I guess I need to jump in here.

Master bedroom is my room this month.

[]Load up new dresser (Decluttering while I'm at it)
[]Go through Becca's clothes and determine what she needs for trip
[]Buy new shoe's for everyone
[]Buy new undies for everyone
(all of that goes directly into suitcases)

I'm not sure on the house front because all of my time and energy is going into getting ready for Disney World. We've been before but this is the first time we are taking Becca. It will be neat to see it through her eyes.

If I really do my maintenance and my routines, this would be a very nice list. The danger in the past is that I've gotten very excited about my list -- and stopped doing my routines and my maintenance. That actually leads to a huge mess. :slap:

I have lots of carry-overs from last week! I got a stomache bug yesterday and I'm still dragging my behind,so I'll see what I can do! List to follow...

How's everyone doing this week? The weather has been a major stopper for me as far as my outside work. Today is supposed to be nice, however, so hopefully I can get a few things done before it gets bad again tomorrow or Saturday. Other than that, i've got almost everything crossed off my leisure and have to do lists. YAY!!!! It feels so good to be able to mark things off, even though I think of a ton of other things to add. :flower:

I'm happy to report that I accomplished everything but planting my caladiums this week. I did figure out where i'm going to plant them, I just need to get out there and do it. This weekend has been soooo busy. I did lots of things that weren't on my list. Hope everyone is getting just as much done! New week starts tomorrow, get those lists ready.

Gotta finish preparing for DD's graduation from high-school saturday.... still got the perfume to buy and a little necklace to wear with my dress. DD is all set... oops I put it in wrong post...should be week june 2nd...
