I'm holding a Valentine's Day Party for friends with a fondue, cheese, chocolate and oil. Anyone know any recipes for fondue? I'm going with a RETRO valentine's theme, since my fondue pots are very RETRO looking. I'm getting bottled sodas, retro looking napkins and bar ware. The main colour will be red of course.

Should be a fun time. Anyone have any suggestions for party games?

I've done a fondue with Toblerone and we are leaning towards that but we are always looking for something different. Thanks for all the recipes so far, keep them coming.

I like Rachael Ray's Easy Cheesy fondue recipe on the food network site. It seemed a little like cheating, but after fighting to get the wine incorporated into the cheese (and failing) this one worked great.

There is also a ready made cheese type in most grocery stores. Haven't tried it yet, but I've heard it's good.

I also like the caramel dip that is in the apple section of the produce aisle. If you heat it and put into into a fondue pot it stays nice throughout the evening.

It is safe to say that the theme of the night (besides Valentine's Day) will be EASY TO BRING IT ALL TOGETHER!!!!!! :heartbeat:

I can't stand throwing parties that are more work than need be. First rule of party planning, keep it simple stupid. My Mom taught me that one.
