I changed my avatar for a Fall one, does that count? :)

I purchased a Fall-colored teacup this week, been looking everywhere for one. This one is nice, not exactly what I wanted but didn't want to pay $20 for a cup either.

Yes that counts Lucie.
Awww, sounds like you're going to be in heaven Anglepugs.

I'm waiting til September to put up my fall decor but I've been doing a little cleaning here and there, getting my place ready. We're expecting a little relief in temperature sometime next week but not enough to make it feel like fall. I think this weekend I will go out and get a few fall scented candles. It may not feel like fall but at least it will smell like it. lol

Fall/autumn is most definitely my favorite time of year. The temperatures are cooler, bugs are disappearing, the changing of the leaves is so pretty.
Winter is too cold, spring is too wet & summer is too hot.
Ahhhh, fall, how I love thee.

No leaves turning yet here, but for the last two days I've been able to leave the AC off and open all the windows and enjoy the cool breeze. I was kind of chilly when I woke up this morning. lol

Put up fall decor yesterday! Have one wreath left to hang up in master bedroom but other than that it is DONE! So glad to have that off my list! We've been spotting bits of color here and there on the trees as well! :)

Yey MinnieCo! I went for a drive yesterday hoping to spot some leaves changing, but no changes yet. :(

I was tempted to put up my fall decor over the weekend as the weather was so nice. It actually felt like fall.

Has anyone been to Dollar Tree lately? They have really expanded their Halloween decorations. So much to choose from. I hope they do the same when they put out the Christmas decorations.

Yup,

I noticed that too. My teenage DD want to decorate her room for Halloween so I am taking her at the end of the month to get stuff for her bedroom. I am sure my little guy will want stuff too :)

We put out our Fall decorations :)

I hate seeing all these pumpkin spice lattes everywhere and not being able to have one! DH was nice and went to a fancy coffee shop where they made me a decaf one. It was sooooo good.

I found a recipe this morning, and I'm going to try to make some myself at home. The only problem is each one takes 2 T of pumpkin purree.......and a can of pumpkin goes bad so fast. I'm wondering if I could freeze it in ice cube trays for future use.

I think you could absolutely freeze the extra like that! Good idea! I've done that before and I just transfer the cubes to a ziplock freezer bag once frozen.

did they just not have any at your store or were the shelfs empty? We have 4 dollar trees within 5 minutes of my house. Kinda crazy, but I might check out a few to see the difference.

There just wasn't any at the store. Lots of Halloween but not much Fall.

Lucie I had that problem. I went to about 10 different Dollar Trees before I finally found one with fall decorations. And the only reason they had so much, the lady told me, was because they got behind putting stuff out due to inventory they were doing.
