Well, January was off to a rocky start with an unexpected death, caring for a sick husband and then getting sick myself. In spite of the month, I did get things done but just not quite to the extent I had hope. Now to think about February Goals!

January Household:

Finish Christmas Clean Up: tree gets taken down Jan. 10th for tree pick up; stray decorations get put away DONE
Organize Office: put books away; sort through papers and file Did some of this
Sort and Organize Bill writing area - Move 2016 bills out of binder and into storage; check for stamps DONE
Dust/Vacuum/Declutter Master Bedroom: bureau, chair, side table, book case and closet Did some of this

Party Prep:
Menu Planning Did some of this
Inventory party plates, napkins, forks, knives, spoons, cups, and glasses DONE
Think about guest list and party invitations Did some of this
Spring Spruce Up: determine what needs to get done indoors/outdoors in the warm weather. Still need to do

I did absolutely nothing in January. It was a very hot month here and although I was keen to get started I had no energy at all. Hopefully February will be better.

Didn't do much in January. I did purge out old Christmas gift boxes that were pretty worn or missing it's mate and old gift bags. We also of a bunch of older outdoor lights that either no longer work or have to many blown bulbs.

Well, I'm back with the spring cleaning this week and prepping for a graduation party in three weeks. There were a lot of unexpected events in our family that needed to be dealt with this winter. It feels good to get back to cleaning and organizing the house.

Have finished deep-spring cleaning all main floor and have dd's room done in basement... we are having a very rainy spring so.... give me time to clean as it's not time to go work outside around the house yet.

I am in a holding pattern with cleaning and organizing, with 8 people in my 3 bedroom 1 bath house and 3 dgds with lots of toys it is nearly impossible to keep it cleaned and organized. Family will be at their new location by July and once that happens we will be re setting the house to be minimal, Plans are to repaint the entire house and hopefully redo the kitchen and bathroom floors. $ may run out before that, we'll see.

We are in the last weeks of Autumn here and I have done a pretty good job of keeping the house clean. We are settling in for the next few months for Winter.
Spring is September 1st. In the next few weeks I will start to look at some Spring cleaning/Christmas prep plans and see what I think may work for me.
