I tear out the articles/recipes, put them in page protectors and store them in binders. I think my goal this time is to place the articles/recipes by season or by quarter (Jan/Feb/March, April, May, June, etc) — 4 separate binders. That way I can try out recipes or crafts by season.

Oh, I forgot this part.
I am planning on putting mine in page protectos- which already have the 3 hole punches in them. Then, you can put the recipes back to back. Organizing by season IS such a great idea. Because there are certain things I want to make and that are available depending on the season. Ex: Spring/Summer- A lot of salads Fall/Winter- More hearty type meals Annie

I'm loving all the organizations ideas! Thanks, ladies!
One thing that I do when I tear something out that I like, especially if there is more than one thing on the page, I circle the item that caught my attention with a pink highlighter. I can't tell you how many times I've gone back to something and have to spend way too much time figuring out why I kept it in the first place. By circling it I can see quickly what it was and make a decsion - keep or toss and then move on.

Only have one magazine subscribtion. It's dh's golf one. I hardly ever buy them. I pick them up from the library. They keep them, dust them, store them and I can go get one anytime.

Pink highlighters- what would the world be without them!
Ahorsesoul- that is a good tip- to use the library. Do you ever copy anything from the magazines there? Annie

No magazine issues here, now lol
I used to be a terrible magazine hoarder - but when we moved I did not renew my subscriptions. I know read what I want at the library, or try to find it online. I save/copy and periodically go thru it and weed out any ideas I completed and did not like, or that are not as great as I originally thought

That's exactly what I do. I copy what I'd like to keep and put it in my notebooks.
