Savoring Sunday March 25

Good evening ladies!

Dinner is done and cookies are baked. It's just about that time of night to get things together for school tomorrow. I'm going to put dd in the tub and work on typing a story test for my students. DH has been outside all day working on a fort for dd. It's cute...all recycled materials too. I'm thinking we'll add some plants around it to help it blend with the landscape.

Another quick "hi",

DH and I met friends at the local seafood festival and then went over to the Forum because other friends said they would meet us at the hockey game. Since they usually leave us tickets we ran all over the place trying to find them. We finally discovered that they did not leave us tickets and to get into their suite would be about $200 a ticket. No way! So we went home and I had a muffin for dinner...

Today we did the art show. We bought a photograph of Franconia Notch, NH for over the mantle and I got a great leather purse - I just fell in love...it's super when that happens...
Then took Belle on a ride to Davis Island and sat and watched the cruise ships sail out of Port Tampa...Wings for dinner...I think it's laundry now...

For Rudy day I'll count the knitting I did this PM...

I have had the most relaxing and productive day.

I was able to get everything done on my list and there was a lot.

DS didn't to watch Christmas with the Kranks, so we watched Deck the Halls instead.

I have been reading most of the afternoon and am now watching another movie. Lunch is packed and things are ready for work tomorrow.

I have written quite the blog post - too bad J doesn't read my blog. He would be in for a big surprise. I am hoping a family member will be in touch with him. I can't take it anymore - he needs to leave. I really and truly have come to hate his guts. I wish he would just go away.

Hi, Everyone! Just a late night check in, as I haven't had a chance to get on any earlier today.

Kim, what an ordeal you've been through! Praying for your MIL and I hope that 12 is feeling better after his bad fall.

Busy day today. I had trouble sleeping last night so I slept later than i intended. We went to Mass and then lunch. Then DH worked on the taxes while I did paperwork for the kids' school registration.

DH, DD11 and I went over to the school this afternoon to register them for next year and attend an open house. DD11 loves us to see her work and the pictures in the classroom of the things they've done all year, especially their class trip to go snow tubing.

Later we went to Barnes and Noble for a while and then had a little dinner. Nothing too exciting.

Hello, everyone. I'm popping in to say goodnight.

When we took our group to supper (there are 30 of us), just as our last car turned in a motorcycle pulled into oncoming traffic. Some of our kids saw the truck hit the guy and him go flying into the air. The polce told us he isn't going to make it. I think our last car turning in blocked his seeing the oncoming truck. The lady in the truck tried to stop and swerve, but it was just too close for her to stop. Life is short and unpredictable.

I hope you all rest well tonight, especially those who haven't been resting well. I'll be busy most of tomorrow...not sure if I can get on or not.
