I bought a blank tin sign at Hobby Lobby. it's red and I wanted to paint somehting cute on it about the elves coming to visit or welcome elves or something. Any ideas?

If your elves arrive on the same day each year, maybe you could paint a chalkboard rectangle in the center with chalkboard paint and paint a design around the edges and a little overlapping the chalkboard part. You could use the chalkboard for a countdown until the elves arrive, then write a message to them when they arrive. The elves can also use the chalkboard to leave messages for your kids.
