I also made a couple of small pet beds using the scraps I save that are too small to use for anything else
What a great use for scraps. I am always at a loss as what to do with them. I could kick myself thinking about how much I threw away. Thank you for sharing this idea.

Moving along on Valentine's projects! :D

Cut out a bunch of red felt squares last night and made a small start on trimming them into circles for the ruffled felt heart wreath.

Cut out 6 red felt hearts that I plan to stick in the greenery and white lights I've left on top of the china cabinet. I finished one so far:

And here is the next one in progress:

And here is the fabric and felt star ornament I finished the other day:

AJ ~ Love your felt hearts and star!

Got a little more craftermath control done, including two more pet beds. I've got a long way to go! I also made a couple of heart hair clips for Julia in February. I need to get her January (snowflake) ones in the mail.

Where do you get your inspiration for felt ornaments? Patterns? Pinterest?

jampss - Pinterest is definitely my go to for inspiration! I also have a large collection of Christmas craft books - like Gooseberry Patch that I draw from as well. But mostly, it is pins, pins, pins! :D

Lana - Off to check out the swap thread!

I did not get any more crafting done last night - between cookie baking and grocery trip and spraining my dang ankle falling in the snowy driveway bringing in the said groceries I was all out of steam.

UGH.

I have done some prep for a birthday present for DH though! I'm making him a Michigan Wolverines fleece blanket!

Here is the fabric I ordered:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076X186BF/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And here is my inspiration pic.

I'm going to get some plain yellow fleece to make the letter "M" and I'll use wonder under to fuse it on in the center of the blanket before stitching it down. I also plan to do a fringe around the edges of the blanket.

I ordered 2 yards and I'm hoping to have enough to make a good size blanket plus a little left to either make a simple hat and/or a scarf too...

Used gift cards received for holidays to get the fleece plus replacement Cricut blades and mats...

AJ ~ Have you fused to fleece before? I think you would have to be very careful not to apply too much heat and melt the fleece ... ? If you want it for just a temporary hold before stitching it, do you think a temporary basting spray would work. You might still need a few pins to be sure. I couldn't get to your inspiration link, but the fabric is wonderful.

I got a good start on the felt kit Christmas stocking last night. I don't think there are nearly as many pieces as the kit I made for Julia.

Greetings!

While working on the craftermath control, I'm having my embroidery machine stitch out some freestanding lace butterflies for DD#2. They are turning out very nicely.

And I finished the felt peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for Sonja's January gift. I think I'll save them to give to her when they visit (arriving this coming Saturday). I got Julia's hair clips in the mail yesterday.

Started working on cleaning the craft cupboard yesterday but got too hot to do much more. Would love to get in there and see what I have so that I can craft a bit more this year. I know that I have some UFO's lurking in there. Might have to wait a few more weeks for things to cool down.
I am not doing anything for the charity for a little while so that I can concentrate on my things for a while.
