don't know how it's called in english but here it is:
Côtes anglaises. it's not hard to knit but hard to unknit as I can'T seem to find my stitches.

That looks like the Fisherman's rib stitch. I've never made anything with that stitch, but it's very nice for a scarf.

Are you abandoning the lion hat project then, DJ? Or just tweaking it?

I just moved the ears and put more fringe (mane) on it. Took hours to do, but got DD's approval last night. I used some yarn to make a thick braid with tassel on the end for a tail. Time to get it in the mail. I’m anxious to know how it fits and looks on Julia (and if she will keep the hat on her head).
