Forum Rules:
1. Holiday Magic (the forums of Magical Holiday Home) welcomes members from anywhere in the world. For the benefit of our member majority, all posts should be written in English.
2. Don’t SPAM or ABUSE any other member via e-mail or Private Messages.
3. Holiday Magic and Magical Holiday Home have a zero tolerance policy for Spam. Being a Christmas and holiday venue many come here to sell their wares, publicize their websites or in other ways exploit our site users. This distracts from our community. If you wish to advertise, we provide options outside of our forum discussion areas (such as the banners you see at the top and bottom or the links you see at the bottom). These ads are reasonable priced and our forum users are faithful in supporting our advertisers. We must out of necessity keep our discussion areas free of all advertising. Any user, new or experienced, using our forum areas to post SPAM links or messages will be banned.
4. Links to outside websites are generally not allowed in a starting thread. If in doubt, please check with a moderator or admin. First time users SHOULD NOT post links in their first message! In doing so you run the risk of being banned. In fact, it is recommended that you post 5-10 times before including links...that gives us a chance to get to know you as a board member. There are several venues for free links, including the Merry Top 50 and Link Christmas.com but we do not allow random linking from our forums.
5. Links in signatures are permissible, as long as those links are to personal sites, sites of obvious interest to Christmas lovers AND family friendly. the link SHOULD NOT be forthe purpose of advertising or simply linking for profit! These sites must comply with our standards of being disassociated with adult content, pornography, gambling, pharmaceuticals, dating or single adult sites, hate sites, politics, or sites that point to hot-button social issues that have no place within a Christmas and holiday venue.
6. Christmas and many of the other holidays discussed here are both sacred and secular. We welcome those of all views to our forums. PLEASE be respectful of other people’s views. Those who purposely antagonize or demean the opinions of others will be removed.
