The first Rudy day is coming very quickly.
In some ways it seems like Christmas 2017 was so long ago, was it really only four weeks?

I know that the months between now and Christmas 2018 will fly by so I want to make the most of the time that we have so that I will be as prepared as possible.

January Rudy day I will be at my mums. We are going to string battery operated lights on a garland that she has so that it is ready for decorating later in the year, We will also look through her gift closet to see if there was anything left from last year that may be useful for this year. If not we will donate it.
We will do all this of course while listening to a Christmas CD.

Don't forget the movie of the month!!!!

Jampss, I love how you have broken down areas into months. I have never thought of doing it like that, we are a little adhoc. January is always planning but after that it just seems to happen. I would like to focus more on individual items so that nothing gets left out.

I'm following Organized Christmas' monthly Rudolph Club meeting assignments from here - http://christmas.organizedhome.com/rudolph-club - and this year, I am making two resolutions, follow this schedule faithfully and blog about it each month. I wish the updated 2018 planner pages were available in January as that would be a great time to get them into your notebook. I'll just go through and put a little Post-It flag on the ones that need to be added later. I have some updating to do on the Christmas movies and music pages and in the ornament inventory. This is also the year I budget enough money to stay on budget. So many little extras worked their way into my shopping last year and I ended up over budget.

jampss, did you make up your list or did you find it on another Christmas site?

January - Tie Up Loose Ends (gather ideas and organize your Christmas notebook)
February - Begin a Holiday Letter
March - Birthday Gift-Buying Strategy (party planning for the holiday season)
April - Plan Holiday Crafts
May - Catalog Shopping Tips
June - Recipe Round Up
July - Choose a Holiday Plan (Christmas in July celebration)
August - Craft Control (thinking ahead to Elf on the Shelf and in my case, December Daily)
September - Prepare for Holiday Gifts and Giving
October - Plan Holiday Meals
November - Write Holiday Letter

See you back here on the 25th! Raise your hand if you're thinking ahead to Christmas in July!!!

Love the lists!!! I am a list gal for sure! :)

I am getting my hair cut and highlighted after work on the 25th - maybe I'll look for Christmas pins on my phone while sitting there! lol

AJ, looking through pinned ideas always makes me happy. I need to do that soon and declutter some of my boards.

Watched a Christmas movie (don't remember the title) about a woman who dies and she has to come back on earth to learn a lesson before being admitted to paradise and knitted. That was my Rudy day fun this week. I also updated my craft Christmas list.

What a great Rudolph Day! All the details are up on my blog with photos but here's a quick summary: Followed Organized Christmas' January Rudolph Club prompt, Tie Up Loose Ends with the sub-prompt of Gather Ideas and Organize your Christmas Notebook, so I tied up all the loose Christmas ends around the house and organized my planner; watched both Christmas Kiss movies, and found the ornament I will make for our CIJ Ornament Swap.

alright, I'm getting ready to pack for a scrapbooking retreat. This calls for a Christmas movie...I still have several left on the DVR, so I'll go pick.

Dsil is still a Grinch, so no Rudy Day for me today. I will sneak it in tomorrow.
