I am still at laundry! Woke up before 4 to use bathroom and put a load of towels in. Now they are in dryer and a load in washer. 3 left for tonight.

No rain it just thundered and thundered.

Work today and see what the night brings.

    Everybody have a GREAT day!

Diedra, I took the slash off-still takes you to another page. Somebody had suggested putting it on. Oh well. Also, we have checked the vent in the last month. Has been doing this off and on.

Suppose I better go get ready--Allen will be at gas station so will go get a tea.

A neighbors mother passed yesterday so I need to get some food or whatever together and take over. Will go by Dollar General on lunch or after work.

    Good morning!

Hope you all had a great night.

Bible study this a.m. Then out to Jennifer's to do a load of laundry. I am about out of clothes. Never happened before. Maybe Jennifer will lean out her closet for me! Lol. My daughter's closet is still my favorite store. However, she is a little bigger than me. But that's ok.

That is all I have planned for today. I ate cashews this weekend, and my tummy is hurting. Usually, peanuts do this to me. Cashews are my favorite.

I had best get some laundry sorted. As women, we know it doesn't wait for us. Lol.

Morning! was awake on / off since 6.
Have a 9:00 doctor's appointment and need to go pick up the mail. Have pharmacy but it might be closed, we'll see.
Then at 1:00 I am meeting with the lady who teaches me about knitting socks.

    Hot here today.

    Hi All,

We had an enjoyable last day of school holidays for Luke today. Traditionally, we always go to lunch at the casino. It was really good today. Luke always loves it but sometimes I can take it or leave it. Today was yummy! Because we had a big lunch- dinner was just grilled cheese on toast for both of us.

Back to swim for Luke this morning. He could not wait to get out the door! I thought he would be really tired and grumpy because he was up past midnight last night watching the grand prix but no he bounced out of bed just before 5am raring to go! Not so sure Merlin was so happy about it as he has been used to sleeping in with Luke the last 2 weeks!

I hoping tomorrow to get through my gift closet and sort it out- lots of stocking stuffers and small gifts have arrived from ebay and aliexpress. Because Luke has been home I have just been shoving them in packaging and all. I have no real idea what;s in there, what's not and what is still to arrive!

    Have a great day all.

    Good morning!

It's warm...69* and fair, but 84% humidity. Blah. Looks like high in the 80s all week. I am also working on laundry today. I usually do it Saturday, but with the funeral and all, I didn't get to it. Today will be laundry, cleaning and prepping for our little getaway. J wants to go look at a truck....an hour and a half away....that's so far. Then all the paperwork and driving back and forth. Ugh.

Tanya...glad you had an enjoyable last day of holiday!
Pam....enjoy bible study! I'm sure you are proud of your kids and their love for the Lord.
Lucie....I've never attempted socks. How are your socks coming along?
Lana....hope it's an easy fix with the dryer. Hope your cw isn't too grumpy today!

    Have a good day!

Lisa - only the cuffs are done. Today will be the body of the sock. It's gonna take awhile ;) Haven't been to a store yet so need to buy the right size knitting needles (the ones I have are a bit big but I don't mind as I think the 1st pair is just a practice pair), nor the right yarn.

Doc game me some anti-spasmodic pills (my sil had told me about those), to use when I need. Have prescriptions for Fall for a mammography, lung radiography and bloodwork - standard testing. Was my annual women's test too, he said all is fine.
Went to the pharmacy and picked up the mail. Did ironing, laundry is going, emptied deshumidifier in the basement, emptied garbage cans in the basement, did my menu-planning, washed a few tablets in the fridge (they were yucky!), checked what is still in fridge-freezer so it can be used up soon, now I'll go empty dishwasher.

    Good morning!

Vic is traveling this week so no doubt I'll be sleeping in a little later than usual. I went to the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Premiere on Saturday and came home with a full bag. I have no will power when it comes to Hallmark. I have a long list of Christmas-related tasks on my list today - update the ornament inventory with the new purchases and the ornaments from the swap, organize my planner, try to get ahead with my Christmas in July blog posts, sort out my photos, and if all goes according to plan, I may just slip out this afternoon and see if the Nordic Ware wreath pan is still at the thrift shop. It was such a deal.

There was a family wedding in England this weekend - how I would have loved to be there. My cousins kept me in the loop with photos and videos coming in all through the day. It was lovely and I really felt a part of it. My sister called and we had a good cry about how much our Mum would have loved the day.

Thanks for your prayers and hugs for Sophia. She's still having a tough time but she got out this weekend to take a hike with one of her girlfriends and MudLynn and they looked like they had a great day from the photos on Facebook. With Mel and Debbie's recent losses, I dread the day that we have to say goodbye to MudLynn. Sophia will be devastated, we all will, and I hope we are in Washington, close to her.

I've just realized that I never finished this post - I popped over here to catch up and saw it still open and unfinished. So that's about it for today - I've gotten quite far with my to-dos for the day so I'm running out to see if the wreath pan is still there. Wish me luck.

    Good morning,
Work for me today so up early. If you look outside it is so dark, it feels like the middle of the night.
Looking forward to doing some work today, yesterday seemed to be just clearing up messes and not getting anything done.

Home tonight with nothing on the calendar.

I have been approached with a wonderful opportunity for my DrillDance team, it will be amazing if I can pull it off. Please send some positive thoughts that things go smoothly.

    Have great day.

HW2 - I hate, hate snakes, I'm so glad we don't have any around here.
Pamela - the ornaments you bought are beautiful! makes me jealous! I would so go for the harry potter ones!

Spent 2 hours knitting with the lady in her swing. she still doesn't want me to pay her. So now I have some homework (knitting) to do and then I'll go back to learn how to do the heels. she will also show me how to start a scarf the way I want it.

Just started raining.... so the potatoes for the bbq are in the oven (no more gaz in the grill!) and will cook pork chops inside too.

Lunch & gym clothes are prepped for tomorrow.

    Have a great evening!

Evening! Home and ate. Made a pan of brownies, got a 12 pack of Mt. Dew and Pepsi, paper plates, cups, Kleenex, paper towels and a pack of 20 assorted chips to take to neighbors. Actually Allen is delivering them now.

Ryans friends benefit was Saturday night but not sure how that went. It was to help raise money for a leg. State will pay for one but the better one will cost alittle more.

I have Aunt Ims clothes washing and will have 2 more of ours.

HW2, where are you? We are EXTREMELY dry. Temps are to be triple digits the next 3 or 4 days with heat index 105-115. I really feel for the outside workers.

    I better move along.

Hey all. Haven't been on in awhile. I read over this thread. Praying everyone is well. I had my first radiation treatment for the basal cell on my face near the bridge of my nose. The anticipatory anxiety leading up to yesterday wiped me out afterwards. They didn't mention that there was going to be a loud buzzing noise and a bright light! It caught me off guard and I felt claustrophobic. I have 32 more treatments. Ug.

Jampass I am so sorry you are in this difficult situation. Prayers that each treatment improves your health and gives you strength to move forward.

Oh, the dentist office recommends bringing music to listen to while they work. Do you have an iphone or mp3 player to take?
