I finished The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. DD had given it a 5, I'd say a 4 because to me a 5 is a reread but it is still good.

Duane Elgin is the author. The first edition was released in 1981. He rewrote and updated about half the book and re-released it in 2010.

It isn't a deep, heavy read which is nice - around 200 pages. His message really speaks to me.

I hope you can find it and enjoy it.

Finished The Time Between by Karen White, excellent book. I am really enjoying her writing. Now i'm reading The Night Sister by Jennifer McMahon. I just started it last night and it's due back tomorrow so i'm hoping to get it done. It's a fresh pick so I can't renew it, although i'm sure I could find another one and check it out again. It's grabbed my attention.

You guys are giving me great ideas for what to read next!!! :)

I'm going to the library website to look for The Martian, The Book Thief and The Ceridwen Saga!!!!

I've been rereading a lot of my own library recently to save $ but I am the need of something NEW!!!

Just finished re-reading Gone With The Wind - haven't read it since, oh gosh, a long time ago. It's funny how I look at it with such different eyes now, notice things I didn't before. Feel differently about the characters now then I did when I first read it - I was 12 :)

Finished the Good girl by Mary Kubica. It was good and I really couldn't foresee the ending. I'd say 4 on 5.

Read these past few weeks:

(The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas) from John Boyne.
About a 9 year old German boy during the nazi era. short read. I found it was a good book about how he doesn't understand what is going on and he is on the outside of the fence.

La vie comme je l'aime vol. 1 & 2 de Marcia Pilote - local author. personnal growth books, small anecdotes of life as she sees it. I liked them also.

Amelie Nothomb - Stupeurs & tremblements, don't know if it is translated in English, but do not go looking for it. I did not like it at all. luckily it was short. My cw loved it but I didn't ... very weird story

Guillaume musso - la fille de papier (The papter girl) from Guillaume Musso - liked it alot. would recommend it.
