I was looking to see where this post would fit and I think "Celebrate Me" is the perfect spot. My daughters organization is sponsoring "Share Your Sparkle Day", this coming Wednesday May 13th.
We're asking that you and the young girls in your life, do something special to share a talent with someone on this day. Someone that may need a pick me up. Someone that you would not normally think of as a friend. Someone you notice that might need a friend. Basically we're asking you to go out of your comfort zone and do something for someone else.
The Shimmer, Sparkle, Shine Project works with young girls ages 8-12, helping them realize they all have individual worth and showing them hands on, they all have their own sparkle to share. It's amazing how many girls, we have in workshops, that can't think of a single talent they have. As a mom, it's so sad to watch.
