I have not. I don't even own any decorations for Valentine's Day. I think this year I will decorate for V-Day though. Probably not a lot but more than I usually do.

I have a red felt ruffle wreath I'll put up on the side door in a week or two. And a storebought glittery heart wreath for the front door - I know I made a few other things but need to find them!!! Ugh!

Working on Valentines treats for DS's class too...also need to to think about making arrangements for DH and I to go out to dinner...

No Valentine's decor here. Next up is St. Patrick's Day -- when you lived with Chciago's Southside Irish parade 2 blocks away for 35 years, it became a party every year. I've since relocated to a townhome in the 'burbs, but continue to celebrate in the southside tradition with family and friends.

Have not done Valentines yet. Next holiday for us is Australia Day on January 26th. Need to pull out the red, white and blue and get started on that.

I've just started putting away Christmas. But when I'm done I'll do valentine / st Patrick's combo decorating. I dont have much for either.

I usually keep my Christmas wreaths and other greenery up until the end of January and then I decorate for Valentine's Day. I have a small table at our front door that gets decorated by the holiday. I use red and white with a bit of green for decorating at Christmas. I take away the green and carry the red and white through the winter. Those two colors come out again in the summer with blue added for Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day.

Mary, very clever of you to use the same base colours and then just change the wreath up.
I too have a wreath at my front door. It is empty at the moment but will do Australia Day next week.

We decided that we'll celebrate Valentine's Day on February 15th with a nice dinner at home with the family. We tend to celebrate either the weekend before or the weekend after since our work and school schedules are so hectic these day.

When I was shopping yesterday I found chocolate bears on a stick. The bears holding a pink heart. Bought one each for the kids and DH. I think I will also dip some oreos in pink chocolate and bag them up but not sure yet.

Not going to do the oreos this year. Found some pink M&M type lollies yesterday and some red foil wrapped hearts. Will bag those up in cellophane bags and pink ribbon. Need to find a little saying to print out on a tag. Need to frame a picture today for on the entry table.

I finished up the Valentine decorating today. We have the menu planned. I made up side dishes and froze them. I'll defrost them Thursday night. They should be ready to bake on Friday night. I picked up some chocolates that I'll wrap in red or pink paper.

Not sure if I will get to decorating for this year, time has gotten away from me. I have wrapped the little gifts so that is one thing done.

DH and I don't traditionally celebrate Valentines as it is our anniversary next week. I did buy him a card that made me laugh out loud. Not too concerned if he gets me one or not. Wrapped little gifts for the kids. Simple.

I never did decorate for valentines or st pats. I've decided I'll just start decorating for spring and Easter.
We have never been a big valentines couple. But the last couple of years we've gone for a couples massage and a nice lunch. The massage package includes some flowers and a box of very nice candy. It's a nice date for us and something we both enjoy. Can't wait for my massage today!
