Mel, I loved that book!

I didn't get to finish The Dinner because it had to go back to the library and it wouldn't let me renew it, I wasn't really into it anyway. Now i'm reading Tricky Twenty-Two by Janet Evanovich.

I just finished my Janet Evanovich book, it was better than some of the more recent in the series and now I can't wait for the next one. I'm getting ready to start A Ghoul's Guide to Love and Murder by Victoria Laurie and I found out it will be the last in this particular series.

I just finished some Christmas novels - yes, I read them all year round!!

They are by Richard Paul Evans - who doesn't love his Christmas stories?

Anyway, they are part of his "Mistletoe Collection". The first one is called The Mistletoe Promise and the second one is The Mistletoe Inn. The third one will be released later this year.

They were great stories, I can't wait for the third!!

I finished Tea-bag by Henning Mankell... about refugees but it is very weirdly written... kind of all over the place. I'd give it a 3 on 5.

I went to my library's web site and sampled The Mistletoe Promise. It sounds like a good story, and I enjoyed Evans' writing style. I'll have to put it on my list for the future. Thanks.

I just read Christmas on Candy Cane Lane by Sheila Roberts. This is the latest in her "Life In Icicle Falls" series. If you are looking for some light, fun reading this is a great series of books.

Now, I have a stack of non-fiction to plow through.

I finished my Victoria Laurie book and am now reading Haunt Couture and Ghosts Galore by Rose Pressey. For my book club we are going to read A Long Time Gone by Karen White. It's ready to be picked up at the library but i'm waiting for a book that I also put on hold for DS to be taken over to this branch before I go pick up. Should be today or tomorrow.

I finished THE BOOK THIEF & have begun JAGGED LITTLE EDGES & also DEFENDING JACOB. Yes, I often will read two books at once. :)
THE BOOK THIEF was very good. I need to check for the movie. I wonder if it's on Netflix.
