The way the time is flying, it will be the 25th before you know it. Lucie is our hostess for the September movie so get your copy of You've Got Mail ready. Can you believe I have never watched it? Since it's our first BER month (thanks for the clarification!), tell us all about your lead up to the holiday plans - Holiday Grand Plan, or House and Holidays Plan? Getting ready for December Daily? Are you a Christmas planner person?

Kathleen Kelly: [in an email to Joe Fox] The odd thing about this form of communication is that you're more likely to talk about nothing than something. But I just want to say that all this nothing has meant more to me than so many somethings.

I am ready for September Rudy day!!
I find that the magic of Christmas really begins for my in September and from here on in it gets extremely busy at my place. I need all the days I can get to really prepare for and enjoy the lead up to Christmas.

-BER months, my favorite!

I mainly do Holiday Grand Plan, but with a generous helping of Christmas Countdown tasks too! I am positively a planner person :)

We watched the movie today. I thought I had seen it before, but no. We really enjoyed it...and I cried. Thank you for the suggestion!

The Shop Around the Corner (1940)

In the Good Old Summertime (1949)

The little girl at the end of In the Good Ole Summertime is ... Liza Minnelli ... Judy Garland’s daughter with Vince Minnelli the director.
