After an unexpected break, I am getting back to going through the digital photos and decluttering the duplicate and blurry photos from my computer. I got 15 minutes in today and had a few laughs along the way. :)

I am hoping to go through DS clothes with him today to see what we might get rid of and what he might need.
Will see what type of mood he is in.

I pick up DS from school tomorrow he hasn't been home since winter break. He informed me that his shirts are too small in shoulders so he has been buying mediums. Also the doctor told me he would stop growing at 21 which he turned that just about 2 weeks ago but said his pants are getting too short. Not going to be fun finding pants in a 28x38. We are going to have to spend the rest of May going thru his thousands of clothes (I call him Mr. Perfect for a reason) figure out what will still fit, what to give away and what to sell (which will be most of them). We will also go thru running shoes to make sure they are still in date to exchange (got to love Nike's two year guarantee)

MM always good when we can get stuff out the door.

After Kenny went up and saw his grandparents after we got back home last night he started taking stuff out of his room and putting them in the livingroom I don't need these things anymore so put them on marketplace today and got rid of all he gave me. I did notice he does have two totes of clothes sitting in his room but not sure what they are yet. My mom decided that he needed to go to casino with him for grandma/Kenny time. He did take 7 pair of Running shoes to take to the Nike store to exchange them. I know that grandma will buy him a new pair also since she does every time she exchanges his running shoes so he will end up coming home with at least 8 new pair if not more depending on what they have on sale

Went through the whole closet for DS - moved some shirts to PJ drawer (just a touch small or too worn but good as PJs with soft shorts in the summertime) and put a pile of things in the donation area downstairs.

Went through box of clothes a friend gave us and most are still too big but I made an inventory of what I have so I know what sizes, how many of each item, etc.

Went through my closet as well, finalizing switching out the seasons and adding to the donation pile!

Decluttering through weight loss - one pair of pants, one pair of jeans - too big now and off to the thrift store. One poncho I just don't wear, will wait to take that until the weather cools down. Two unopened pairs of those new Shapewear briefs - the ones that control and shape and hold everything in - they just don't mention that it's super hard to get into them and you can barely breathe, let alone eat with them on (hmm, maybe that's the point ;)). I tried one pair, tossed them out, and put the other two pairs in the donate box.

PamelaG - at the homeless home around here they mentionned that underwear is something they really need and hardly ever get.

I decluttered a whole bag of expired bills - brought them back to pharmacy so they can dispose of them safely.
Went to the bank to deposit a whole bag of rolled up change - guess it counts as decluttering :)

Win/win. It is out of your house and into your bank account.

You are doing well on the decluttering Mary.
We have recently purchased a new computer here so I am going through folders of things to see what needs to be transferred from the old computer to the new. It is so easy just to store stuff!

I got in another 15 mins. of digital decluttering. :)
I need to do this! Didn't think to list it here as decluttering. Making a schedule now. Thanks for the tip.

I finished up decluttering through the house earlier this year. Being accountable here helped me get through it. I wanted to get rid of the duplicate photos and blurry photos on the computer that I never dealt with after uploading them. I thought posting here would help.

I got in two more sessions!

Lucie, doing well. I got rid of a whole lot of clothes over the Summer, 5 or 6 bags full of clothes that I never wore. Makes my life easier now as I just grab something and I know that it fits and that I like it.

This past week I decluttered and took it all to my son's in Greencastle, IN! I loaded the back seat of my car. I gave him four oil paintings, a very large picture frame with a brand new poster to put in it. Four framed pics of famous cities. A large basket. Four bins from $. 4 outfits for Brysen. Some things for Mel. A set of full size sheets that were my mother's. Set of sheers. 4 drinking glasses and 4 juice glasses. Odds and ends of flatware. Some dish towels. 2 frying pans. 2 books for Brysen. I cannot remember what else. Jay gave them a set of Pfaltzgraf dishes in the Village pattern, and some pots and pans. So, Melanie was so happy that she could have regular silverware and glasses to have with our dinner! It was an awesome dinner, too! I can hardly wait to get this place back in order.
