Graduation week is this week. All the school traditions are being held online but we will have one last visit to the school on Thursday. Then on Saturday, we will have a drive by graduation party. It will be rather low key compared to other parties so less work is involved this time.

  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Pay bills.
  • Weed one flower bed or trim bushes. Done
  • Make a grocery list.
  • Buy groceries.
  • FlyLady: Living Room, Entrance, Dining Room and Front Porch:
    • Dust.
    • Vacuum.
    • Dust Blinds.
    • Sweep the front porch.
    • Clean front door.
    • Wipe down wall and door jambs.
    • Dust Chandelier.
    • Wipe down dining room chairs
  • Trimester Goals - 5 days/20 mins sessions:
    • Exercise XX
    • Reading
    • Research/Writing
To do this week:
  • Paint the woodwork.
  • Make spice mixes.
  • Graduation- Decorate, Pictures, Food, Drinks In Progress
Projects to work on as time permits:
  • Organize kitchen cookbook binder.
  • Work on summer party menus.

Mary, congratulations to the graduates. Such a mixed time for them but hope that the celebrations are amazing.
Hope that you have a great week.

Thanks! I got on to check off my to do list here and see that I've basically not done a blessed thing on that list. Instead, a new list of things to get done for graduation has formed. Thursday night is graduation. Friday is a big cleaning and shopping day. Saturday is the "drive by party."

As you know my weekly list remains largely unchanged. There are weeks when I get nothing on that list ticked off and weeks when I rock and get it all done. That is life and we just get back to it when we can.

I was just saying something to that effect this morning to my dh. That's the biggest takeaway that I've come across since keeping up the weekly list here. Live the interrupted life first and use the checklist to fill in the uninterrupted life.

I think having a plan is what keeps me in line. Does not mean I always stay with in the lines but I know where to start when I'm off track.
