Hello My Friends!!!

At the end of this week it will be halfway thru another month!!!!

This past week I was just looking for more ideals---like I need any!!!!!!!

Several of you moved along on projects last week---WTG!

Would like to try a snowman ornament with the glitter in it later today if I have the spray.

What are your plans for the week?

HAPPY CRAFTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings all!!! :)

I finished my ribbon paperclips project - woo hoo! I just cannot get the pic I took to upload, UGH - but I got 40 done which I'll divvy up into four groups of 10 for gifting.

Also finished felt ear buds case and the 6th sunglasses case. Started embroidery on #7!!!

Used Cricut to make 6 tags for Oven Caramel Corn that I'll be gifting this year - couldn't find my normal Cricut black pen so I fished another one out of a multi pack I got and low and behold - it is black with GLITTER - turned out so pretty! Why was I not using this pen?????? lol

While I was waiting on the Cricut I started playing with tag making - I save "nice" tags from clothing I purchase and use them to jumpstart holiday tags.

For example, I have several of these:

A little paper, ribbon, stamping and embellishing and the front now looks like this:

And the back like this:

I tend to save and reuse these from year to year - just tying them back onto presents for the same person! Or I use them on gifts to people I know will do the same. And if not - no big deal as they are easy to make!

I did one more in a blue/snow theme but didn't get a pic yet...

AJ I save those tags too but haven't done anything with them yet. I like your idea!

Went to knitting lady this afternoon and finished off a pair of socks for dd's Christmas gifts.
Working on another pair and have taken out what I need to start a 3rd pair.
Also found yarn so I can start looking at making baby boots (crochet) as soon as I have the time. will follow a youtube tutorial.
All my angel wings have the ribbon and tags added to them... know I need a way to wrap them,

AJ, love the tag idea. A great way to reuse items. The sunglasses cases are such a practical idea.

I didn't sew a stitch on the sampler I am working on while at Mom's I was either helping DB get ready for the family reunion or playing Qwirkle with mom. DS and family are coming from SD for a short visit this week so may not get to stitch again this week as I rather play with Dgds.

So where does one buy a black tube skirt??? I need one to attach feather boas to as part of my costume I'm making...other than wandering around the mall I have no idea

I want to end up with something like this:
https://tinyurl.com/y6b727k4

Thinking I "should" be able to attach lengths of feather boas to the tube skirt. Or I might sew them to a black slip - then attach that on top of the tube skirt - so I can pull up the feather part when I sit down.... hmmm....maybe I just wear bike shorts underneath? That might be better actually!!!

What do you guys think?

I need to pull together DS's Russell costume and now DH wants to be the old man from UP! as well - which will be super cute! I just need to get CRACKIN'!!!

A sportswear store/department should have black skorts - they are sort of like tube skirts and have the added modesty factor of having the shorts underneath.

The black slip should work with the bike shorts on underneath. You would be a lot cooler. I did see skirts on Target.com.

A skort would be good. Kohl’s has them I think and should be on sale. Or maceys. Does anybody sell slips anymore? Gosh I don’t remember seeing any anywhere. Another option would be to make a tube skirt if you are handy with a sewing machine. Shouldn’t be hard to do. Our dollar tree has lots of feather boas.
I’ve started quilting. After I got a few bugs worked out I did great. Half of the large center section is done.

Pamela - Never even thought of a skort! Great idea!

Jody - I'll check out Target's site too! Thank you!!!

Myron's Mom - Yeah, slips aren't exactly a "thing" anymore BUT I did see some at Kohls when I was bra shopping a few weeks ago. I actually stopped and squinted and had an "oh wow, I remember you" moment. LOL

Finally got pic of ribbon paperclips to upload!!!

DS has been sick - thought allergies - suspecting sinus infection - it's been keeping us busy. He woke up with the MOTHER of all nose bleeds today - it was horror movie level {shudder}

Hoping to get some quiet time tonight to sit and craft!!!! I seem to do most of my crafting in drive thrus and waiting rooms in little fits and starts lately and it's just not quite the same!
