Weekly weigh in and I seemed to have put on!!! I know exactly what happened, dinners 2 nights were not great and there was a lunch out with DD which was not the best choice. I don't want to be losing the same kilo twice if that makes sense! Nothing I can do about it except realise what I have done and get on with it. It is not a failure just a set back.

Katrina- I was off my plan last week as well. A 3 day work week and knowing there would be yummy treats at the conference.
I will get back on this coming week.

I thought I posted last week but I see I didn't. I gained a pound last week and I have maintained that pound this week. I haven't been getting out for walks as much because our roads are torn up due to water pipe replacement. It's been a real hassle for walking but a positive for our water supply. I have been doing weight and stretches.

Annie, I think planning is the key and I did not plan properly. Lunch with DD is fine as long as dinner is something lighter. This is where I went wrong. Treats are going to be part of our lives, just need to compensate for them.

Compliments to all who are getting in shape for the holidays!

The vet said Buffy was overweight so we cut down on her food, almost totally eliminated treats and, at least while we were away, walked her more. She gained 4 pounds.

Our 5 year old cat is looking hefty as well. So, cutting back a tad on meal time and curbing snacks, too. And trying to have more play time (movement). :)

LOL! Hmm... either muscle gain or she has a secret stash of dog treats. ;)

Sending our very best to poor Buffy.

Scales are frustrating me, they read up, they read down......

The information on fasting is very interesting, especially as it relates to reported health benefits (besides weight loss). I would be interested in hearing reports from anyone who has tried it.

So, I was trying to be very good with the intermitten fasting this past month. I was also only gonna get on the scale once a month. Put a reminder on my phone. Well, I lost 4 pounds! I'll take it. :) It seems that Jan 2021 to June ... I had gained 14 some pounds.

I maintained my weight until Friday. I ate two meals that I normally don't make and walked 10 miles. I gained 2 lbs. Lots of water and exercising this week!

This is what is happening with me. I think I am having a great week and step on the scales to find I have gained.

Weekly weigh in. A small loss again this week, edging towards my 2nd goal. I have hurt my hip so walking is so hard at the moment.
DD and I have joined a virtual walking challenge, we need to walk 66 kilometres in the next 4 weeks. Our walk is in The Netherlands. Will see how we go with that.
Hoping for a great week for you all.

I weighed myself today and I'm back down 2 lbs. My proportions are small but very health. I've also allowed myself to have a smidgen of jam in my plain yogurt. That has helped to take away the sugar cravings.
