Mary, loving the "To do if time permits" section of your post. I think we could all have one of those sections.
Jess, hope you will have a quiet week.

Jess, good luck on your job postings and interviews. It must be difficult to post for a job in a state that you don't live. I'm impressed with what you are doing. I've always lived in the same state. I can't imagine going through what you are going through.

Katrina, I keep tweaking the lists as I learn about living with "good enough" and not "perfect." That part about "to do if time permits" helped me last week. It's a place to keep future things I don't want to forget but also it doesn't make the perfectionist in me cringe when I don't mark something off the list.

Mary, tweaking is a good thing! The things we do around the house are fluid depending on what is happening. One of the things that we are good at is adapting to new situations, they might not be ideal but we do the best we can.

It will be interesting to see how I settle into my new routine once this initial flurry of activity is over. I will look back at these lists periodically and see where I might need to tweak/add/delete. I believe I will end up in a place where I have not too much to do each week so will have to reassess what I do with the extra time.

I'm working my way through Wednesday. :) For those who may be ininterested, below are the questions that I'm going to use at the end of each month.

Monthly Reflection
  1. What worked and didn't work for me this month? Why?
  2. What things or activities made me happy this month?
  3. What energized me this month?
  4. What drained me this month?
  5. What stress or concern worked itself out?

Mary, can I suggest a separate thread at the end of each month where we post our thoughts. We could name it January reflection, or Monthly refection. All of our reflections could be stored there for and they would be easy to find.

Great idea! I will post the questions on the last Sunday of the month. For most months, it will be the 4th Sunday of the month. If there is a 5th Sunday in the month, I will post the questions then. I'll start one now.

Odd! I set up a new thread last night and thought I posted it. I don't see is anywhere now. I'll write up another thread in Weekly Wonders later today.
