LOL! Isn't' that the truth? Sometimes I get lazy and then I become high motivated when people come over. Part of me thinks I should have people over weekly and the other part of me says, "Nah..." :)

This week is relatively quiet until the weekend. I'm going to push to get most things done in the beginning of the week. The latter part will be getting ready for dd's birthday.

  • Weed Gardens
  • Clean Bathrooms.
  • Pay bills - Pest control; Trash/Recycling;
  • Correspondence: This week: Family History group;
  • Appts: Monday - video call - 7 pm; Wednesday - video call - 7 pm
  • Menu Planning
    • Check that ingredients for planned meals are in the house.
    • Make a grocery list.
    • Buy groceries.
    • Food Prep: Cut up onions, peppers and carrots for upcoming meals.
  • FlyLady: Master Bedroom
    • Dust.
    • Vacuum.
    • Clean Windows.
    • Declutter room.
    • Shred papers.
  • Do weekly reflection.
  • Staple reflection papers to the planner pages.
  • Update journal.
  • Submit online forms for high school.
  • Read next 4 chapters from Austen book
  • Birthday Prep: Buy card, wrap gifts, bake cake, ice cake, buy ice cream, ingredients bought for cake and dinner;
To do if time permits
  • Put away the memorabilia into the proper bins.
  • Sort through recipes clippings (Good rainy day activity)
  • Sort through loose photos found recently (Good rainy day activity)

These have both been added to my planner as an activity in the next few weeks.

Jess, I know you have mentioned it but when do you actually leave?

We leave island on June 1st. We got to a hotel on May 21st. So we'll be in the house with nothing for a month. We get loaner furniture from the Army tomorrow, just beds, a nightstand, a couch, and table with enough chairs for each of us. It's all wooden/wicker furniture that is not comfortable at all and the mattresses and couch have plastic on them that you can't remove. But it's better than nothing, so no complaints here. It's the only duty station that offers this. We also have a loaner kitchen set from Army Community Services that includes plates/bowls, silverware, pots/pans, cups, a coffeepot, toaster, cutting board, and various kitchen utensils so we could send all of our stuff ahead. It's really awesome that they do this.

All my plans have gone out the window this week. CW has called in sick so I have worked Wednesday, will work Thursday and possibly Friday.
I am pleased that there is not too much of importance on the list and that most things can be rescheduled.

Ugh! I hate when these kinds of things happen. It is good though, that you are able to look at it from that perspective.

I'm overall pleased at how this week is going. The last two Mondays have been unexpectedly tough. I worked through the disappointment and upsetment better this past Monday and didn't let it totally ruin the day.

Sometimes Mary all we can do is stand up tall and not let it affect us. Somedays though that is tough.
