37/37 Agatha Raisin There Goes the Bride by M. C. Beaton - that's the last of my set of 20 books I bought - I thought it was the end but when I went to Amazon to find a link for this latest book, I found that #31 is being published in November 2020. That means I have #21-31 still to read! I really enjoy them, she's a flamboyant character and they are quick and easy, perfect bus-reading books.

My Goal was to read 24 books this year but I did not make it. For a few months I just stopped reading. When the pandemic started I read a ton.
Here is what I read this year:

* Where the Crawdads Sing- Della Owens
* Heat Wave-This was by a British Author, I will have to get her name
* Cyclone- This was an Amazon Prime free book that my book club read. (Can't remember the author)
* Daughters of the Lake- Wendy Webb (book Club)
* A Separate Peace- John Knowles
* Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine- Gail Honeyman
* The Library Book- Susan Orlean
* The 7.5 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle- Stuart Turton
* An Absolutely Remarkable Thing- Hank Green
* All Adults Here- Emma Straub

I have a book I am in the middle of so I anticipate I will finish it before the year ends.

Annie

I actually found it difficult to read all my books this year. Too busy and too many electronics. Need to reassess this next year.

My personal list says i've reached my goal of 50 books, but what i've posted here doesn't match. I need to see what I have forgotten to include in my list here. I always try to up my goal from whatever I read the year before. Like Katrina, I too found it was harder to read this year with everything going on. I read the majority of my books from the beginning to the middle of the year before I started student teaching for sure. I think i'll be able to finish my current read before year's end so that will get added to the list as well.
