I like the idea of assigning tasks to each month. I usually have a list of things to do and quite honestly I don't get a fraction of them done.

I may need to do it this way this year!

Phew Kim that is some list,
I like lists, I like to know what I need to do, I like to know what I have done. I love the way that you have broken chores into months with specific goals. I think the key is to not have too many chores to do in an allotted time, and then struggle to get it all done. I think you have struck a great balance Kim.

AliciaKnits-Hi! Thanks for sharing your list. What fun to plan for a trip to Disney! My DH and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary last week.

I hope you will continue to let us know how things are going.

I'm still cleaning out drawers and cabinets. I just reviewed the list with DH since he needs to fix 15's bed and it was a great time to offer a gentle reminder.

Good luck!

Wow! AliciaKnits and Kim make me feel like a slacker! I really need to take an inventory this month of what does need to be done as far as repairs on our house....in the 1,000s of dollars, but as some of you know, we have just come out of bankruptcy. For two years after, you cannot borrow money from anywhere.

This month I am just doing general decluttering since that seems to be pushed aside during the holidays. I started a magazine declutter that's been going pretty well, so that will continue.

Kim and Aliciaknits you ladies are ready!

I need to think about this. I have few things, like painting the walls in both bedrooms. Mainly this year I want to get new furniture and home accessories before the holidays. I plan to purchase a new living room set (sofa, arm chair and two armless chairs). I want to add shelving in the bathroom as there is no storage other than the sink cabinet. Purchase some art to hang on these bare walls. Replace the window treatment. Yes, yes, I really need to give this more thought.
