Katrina, if you go to the swap board you can read the details from the previous years. Works the same every year. However many we get to join the swap you make that many ornaments and send them to me by a deadline. Inside your box you send the money it cost to send your box and like $1.50 or $2.00 extra. I will open all boxes when I receive them all and send you back your ornaments and any money due to you if you over paid. I do not open any of my ornaments until I know you all receive yours. We wrap each ornament and put a tag on it who it is from. Depending on what people make the cost varies to send back. If you do glass please wrap well. In past some has been broken when I got them. Could tell by handling the box.

Thanks Lana for that explanation.
I will need to give this one a miss, it would be way to expensive for postage

Lana, no need to apologise, it is just real life and things can be costly. I will follow the thread with great interest.

Is it possible for a swap to take place among Canada friends and a third among the Australia friends?

I think I’m in. I want to, just don’t want to feel overwhelmed. Sounds like it should be fun.
Lana, when do we have to let you know for sure? How many participants do you usually have?

Last year we had to make 5 ornaments I think Amelia. You can look back at the requirements in the past threads to see if it's something you want to participate in.

MM, I will put the official sign up thread up in a couple days. We have had 5 to 9 people in past years. I normally close the sign ups the end of February so gives 4 or so months to make the items. You get them to me and I mail then back out so we open them by the end of July. Please think about joining us. Jessica has pictures on her blogs of the ones from the past as does some of the other people who have joined.
