In 2020 my goal was to read 12 books. I read 13.
For 2021 I gave myself the same goal. I have only read 3 so far.
I mainly read during my 30 minute lunch break at work. This is a three day weekend for me, so I brought my book home & I hope to finish it & another book I had started a few months back. If I complete those two, I will at least be at 5.
I need to not be in front of the television.
I have my new glasses now, so there is no excuse. :)

I'm going to aim for 12 books this year -- one a month. I was an avid reader, prior to my husband's death in mid-2014. At that time, my concentration went out the window and has been hard to regain. I did a lot of reading as part of my job (and still do, but I'm now only working 1/4 time), but that has not transferred to leisure reading. I think I made it through 3 books last year. And I need to work on improving that in 2021.

1. Hannah, Kristin. Home Again.
2. Shari LaPena. Someone We Know. Started it, not going to finish it. Not my genre ... not worth any more time.
3. Tobin McClain, Lee. Cottage at the Beach.
4. Woodson Harvey, Kristy. The Secret to Southern Charm.
5. Bond, Lisa. A to Z Canning and Preserving for the Beginner (e-book)
6. Halford, Simon. Canning & Preserving Food for Weight Loss (e-book)
7. Sweetwater Creek by Anne Rivers Siddon. [Thought I may have read it before. May have started the book, but never finished it. Not the ending I was looking for, seemed to be left somewhat unfinished, too quick of an ending, too much left unsaid / unresolved. Not what I expect from this author, after reading so many of her works.]
