February 13 – 19:

Exercise:
  • Sunday ~ 2 mi. walk
  • Monday ~ Tom Holland
  • Tuesday ~ 3.25 mi. walk
  • Wednesday ~ Ski Stevens
  • Thursday ~ Dance Step
  • Friday ~ 2.7 mi. walk; Classical Stretch; 3 sets PT metric exercises
  • Saturday ~ Angles, Lines and Curves
Healthy eating: Still can’t control this area of my life, and it’s crucial for actual weight loss.

Week’s weight: up/down/maintain: (BMI=23.8) +.58 (oops)

Mental/Emotional: What did you do for yourself this week? Had friends over for Kaffee und Kuchen on Valentine’s Day. DH brought me chocolates and flowers! Had a friend over for the night and then skiing the following day with another friend we haven’t seen for quite a while. Had a Zoom meeting with sewing group friends at another friend’s house and ate lunch with her afterwards. Took neighborhood walks with DH. Went to a Studebaker meeting with DH for the first time and met some new and interesting people there.

Another good, steady week.
Food- Tracking everything.
Falling off track seems to sneak up on me.
For Valentines a cw gave me an extra-large chocolate bar with almonds.
I ate way more of that at one sitting than I would have liked.
Then on Friday night, I had a couple of individual bags of "pop chips."
I was not hungry. Wasn't sure why I did that.
But all in all- much better than my past.

Agree with you DJ- I just can't seem to get this area where I want it.

Water- A gallon every day but yesterday due to going to the hockey game.

Exercise- When I go for my walk today, I will have hit 5 days for the week
Feeling stronger and my clothes just "feel" different. My body is beginning to "feel" different to me.
I don't think anyone else can notice but that's ok.
Also, generally my energy is So.Much.Better.

Mental- Was proud of myself. I was really looking forward to coming home on Th and watching the Women's skating final at the Olympics. A friend texted and asked could I go for dinner.
I wrote back, "Sorry, have plans already."
This is Growth- normally I would cancel what I had planned and go to the social event.

Sticking to my boundaries feels good!

Annie
