Moved from Christmas 2025

I just decided on my 2026 Theme:

I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas

I had save this photo so will try to build on the suggestions
Have ordered the garland to see if I like it, it’s on sale. So may get two of them If I like it.
Will look for trees that could be sprayed white or to make. Have found some art work on Amazon that might work.

I was looking at some of my saved photos bumping into a mantel idea I had saved.

Last year I just decorated with a very small 2 foot tree and skirt.
We, for the next few years will be celebrating Christmas in Canberra so the thought of decorating and not being here seems a waste. Having said that I totally adore the look of the decorated mantle with the lights and the greenery and the trees. I may need to think about something like this for CIJ when it is Winter here. It would be very cosy.

Love it, Diedra. The nice thing is that it can also function as winter decorations

I am going with stars this year. It will be a nature theme for my decorating. I really want a live tree, but DH isn't keen on it. We are having an early Christmas this year, on November 14th. So a live tree won't do for that event, but maybe in December I can get a live tree. Time will tell. I do have my mantle figured out. You will have to wait until CIJ posts to find out. ;)

My first garland arrived today. Now to decide if I will need another one or do I like the open airy feel of just one. Or should I use a flocked one. Small Christmas pictures for ideas for larger ones.IMG_0958.jpegIMG_0956.jpeg

Diedra, I like the fuller looking garland. It looks more woodsy.

I like the fuller one. The other looks like there just wasn't quite enough, but was used anyway. However, the lesser one would look good if more Christmas "stuff" were tucked into it/ with it.
