A warming thought

I'm technically a day late, but as so many of us are in the midst of snow and cold, here's a nice warming thought for you for today: yesterday was winter solstice, so starting today, the amount of daylight will start getting longer, slowly but surely!


It's sunny here today, with bright blue skies. But cold!! Off to get some hot cocoa now to warm up! :--)

I thought of that, too, masslass! In fact, I just emailed a friend that we are one day closer to springtime, and that makes me very happy!

That is a warming and encouraging thought! I don't mind winter so much at Christmas but once January is here I'll be mighty tired of it. LOL It helps to remember that each day is slowly getting longer.

Darn it. This post actually gets me down now hehe. Since we're now moving into winter. Oh well though, that means Christmas is getting closer.
