Thought I would put this up.........

A couple of you guys moved stuff out already for April.

Ryan worked in garage and moved old boxes and paper out and burnt it. Gobs of stuff to sort there too! :(

I have a small box of odds and ends in my laundry room "donate box area". Then the other day, I took a box my friend had in her garage. Now ... to get these boxes up to the thrift store!

Another bin load of plant pots that are not able to be recycled. Some cardboard boxes to Mum's for her to use for decluttering.

Ryan cleaned the other side of the garage today so we could get 2 vehicles in with bad weather predicted. He has 7 contractor bags of trash to burn. Rainy and windy today so couldn't do it. Now the sorting is left to us. Garage can be used!

Allen took some mini cakes and piece of coconut cream cake to Jaymee's, so I also sent couple clothing pieces of Teigan's, water bottle and spoon and also a bigger frame and picture down to her.

I posted this in Chit Chat thread-
my sibs and I spent an entire day going through our parents photos-
albums, photo boxes, photos in frames and "loose photos."

We got 3 bags of photos in the trash.
These were photos of scenery, flowers/plants, people we didn't know.
Another whole Rubbermaid tote filled with albums of our parents trips- photos of museums, more scenery, notes of the trip-
will also be going in the trash.

I have some trophies of my Dad's. Asked sibs for their blessing to either trash or
give to the high school if appropriate. For ex: A state title trophy.

I have my parents year books, I will be sending them to their respective high school.

On a personal note- Got a bag of newspapers into recycling.
Keeping up on them SO much better!!

Annie, what a great job you have done with sorting through things. I know that the sentimental things are hard to go through. Great that you have an idea of where to send things. Well done.

Annie, good job! That is hard to go through but also fun to relive some of the memories. I threw away several pictures of my great aunts of people not known. Other ones of the family I knew or heard of I sent to my cousin that is into the family tree big time. My parents kept the good ones out of my grandparents pictures and the ones mom give me were of cousins and great aunt and uncles so I sent them to the families that were theirs. Had envelopes to several states.

The cousin in Rhode Island was so happy to get the pictures of her parents from the early days and ones with her with her grandma (my great aunt).

In front of my computer
5 double sized fluorescent light fixtures, 10 extra long fluorescent bulbs and 6 small fluorescent bulbs are heading out the door as I type.4 boxes from the new lights and several odds and ends are going too. 10 covers to the fluorescent light covers are going on marketplace. Slowly but steadily decluttering the basement.

A pair of pants, two t shirts that are too snug, two really cheap, thin towels and three dish draining mats that I just didn't like anymore. Also odd balls of. yarn..
