April Celebrate Me

"don't skip it a month if you are too busy but plan something for a day near it."
I need to remember that. I keep meaning to do "Celebrate Me," but I keep finding myself too busy and never get around to it. I need to make sure that I plan it in for a day and then have a back up plan too!

Most women are "too busy" to take care of themsleves but this month I really need to make the time. Caring for self is as important as caring for others...
mine was yesterday. DH and I went for a walk in our new area of the city that we live in. We found this amazing burger place. Ate supper there and now know that after the summer is over we will have spent lots of time there eating.

This month for celebrate me since it is my birthday; my sister, her D/H, My D/H & I are going to the casino where I was given a free room for my birthday.We will be going on the 15th since she has that week off work, but on the 10th which is my bday, we will have a quiet dinner here at home which D/H will be cooking for me.
I had my nails done. And got a pedicure. Nothing like bright pink polish to put a smile and my face!
Today is my "Celebrate Me" day. I think I'm going to head to Borders on my lunch break and find myself a new book.
I am going to a meeting tonight, but dinner will be leftovers (easy clean-up) and I'll see what I can come up with.

My day is the 26th, a Saturday. Unfortunately I probably won't do much as I'm recovering from breaking my foot in three places. If it's nice out maybe I'll talk my girlfriend and her husband in to lighting up the grill. My boyfriend and I will go over and we'll have a small party.
Well I celebrated 'me' Saturday and I had a really nice day. I spent the day browsing around at the mall and bought some crabs. You can read all about it on my blog.
